I am really excited to share Morgan and Ian's wedding. What a gorgeous day, huh? And would you believe in November? It was one of those November days when anything is possible. The ceremony was held at Lake Forest College Chapel which has to have the most beautiful natural light I have ever seen in a church - a photographer's dream. If you are looking for a location for your ceremony, you must see this place during the day. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Dr. Zina Jacque. Even while shooting, I couldn't help but be taken by her uplifting and passionate personality. After the ceremony we spent some time using the surrounding architecture for images. The reception followed shortly after at Cafe Pyrenees in Libertyville. I was so thankful Morgan and Ian allocated even more time for photos so before sunset we headed out for more shooting opportunities. At this point I need to make mention of level of cooperation displayed by our fearless bride and groom. We were all set to depart as it was getting dark. As we headed to the parking lot, I could see the sunset on the lake. I suggested we go to the water's edge for a few more shots. When we got close enough, we could see the ground was riddled with goose poop. Without hesitation Morgan and Ian proceeded to navigate through the battlefield. A little retouching in post and there it is. The evening winded down with an intimate gathering of friends and family at Morgan's parent's house. A perfect day with an awesome couple.

Congratulations Morgan & Ian! Love all the outdoor shots. Your dress, flowers, hair, makeup...gorgeous.
